뭐랄까 나는 이 드라마가 신박하다고 생각했다.

I think this drama is something new.

누구나 쉽게 상상하지 않는 이야기다.

It is a story that anyone can easily imagine.

그래서 소설 있을법한 역사가 아니다.

So it's a novel.

괜시리 미국에 감사하게 된다.

I just think I'm grateful America.

 

 

이 드라마는 일제강점기때 우리나라와

오버랩 되어 보이기도 한다.

설정이 재미로보면 좋은 소재이다.

This drama lik the Jepanese colonial Korea.

 

 

 

내용은 포인트만 보자면 이렇다.

대통령이 된 존낸스 가너는 원래 막후 권력놀음이나 좋아하는 전형적인 3류 정치인이었던 사람인데 이사람이 대통령이 되고 루스벨트가 사망함에 따라 뉴딜정책같은 혁신이 일어나지 않았으며 고립주의 정책이 유지된다.

그러면서 세계 2차대전에서 패배하게 되고 나치는 소련을 무너뜨리고 더불어 중동의 석유를 장악한다.

또 다른 제국주의인 일본도 미국이 무너짐에 따라 하와이를 점령하고 미국의 해군세력을 무너뜨려 일본은 아시아를 장악하고 인도까지 장악한다.

Imperial Japan, too, occupied Hawaii as the United States collapsed, collapsing US naval forces, and Japan dominating Asia and taking over India.

 

 

영국과 미국은 조건부로 항복하면서 미국을 반토막내고 반은 일본이 반은 독일이 통치하면서

높은 성의 사나이는 시작된다.

The permanent and the United States surrender conditionally and the United States is shattered, and half of Japan is ruled by half the Germans, and the Man in the High Castle begins.

 

 

이 드라마의 남자주인공은

나라를 위해 자신이 무언가 할께 없을까 생각하다가 독립조직에 들어갑니다.

여기서 임무를 맡게되는 것으로 이야기는 전개가 됩니다.

뭔가 이 드라마는 사실이 아님을 알고 있어 그런지 재미로 흥미롭게 볼 수 있습니다.
